Last Minute Weddings

DURHAM MASONIC HALL

On occasions we do have available last minute late weddings.
We offer them for selected dates on our website.
The package offered is available  at £995.00 for up to 100 guests.

Package Details

We suggest your wedding ceremony begins after 3:30 pm. 

To ensure that everything runs smoothly we offer a Master of Ceremonies for your wedding.
Your guests will take their seats in the Ceremony Room and await the bride to enter, accompanied by her chosen music.
The ceremony will take place with a Registrar. This will take approximately 30 minutes.

After the ceremony you will have the chance to relax and take formal and informal pictures.
Access to our gardens will be available for more pictures, take your drinks outside if you wish.

The bar will be open if required.
The Grand Hall will be ready to host your evening reception with tables and seating arranged to suit your requirements.
You can arrange for a DJ or Band to setup in the Grand Hall.
You may wish to invite your evening guests to arrive from 6:00 pm. 

Grand Hall

The Grand Hall will be setup with a maximum of 5 x round tables with tablecloths. ( leaving space for a dance floor )
You can arrange for centre pieces or tealights to be placed on the tables.

The package includes a buffet served, hot beef sandwich with roast potatoes, fries or wedges for up to 100 guests.
(usually served between 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm to suit your requirements).

Vegetarian option available.

Last orders 11:15 pm
Music Ends 11:30 pm
Exit Midnight

Event Details

  • The event Start time is from 3:30 pm onwards.
  • Ceremony – 4:00pm onwards. ( approx. 30 min ceremony )
  • Guests move to the ground floor after the ceremony where the Bar and Grand Hall is available.

Your evening event can now begin, you can:

  • Hire our sound and light system to play via tablet laptop etc. ( Cost £50.00 )
  • Arrange for a DJ to play.
  • Arrange for a group or other entertainment.

Last orders 11:15 pm
Music Ends 11:30 pm
Exit Midnight

Booking
The package offered is available at £995.00 for up to 100 guests.
A non-returnable deposit of £200.00 is payable to reserve your event.
(Subject to Contract)

Other Fees
As required by law you will need to contact Durham County Council to arrange for a registrar to visit Durham Masonic Hall and hold your legal wedding ceremony. They do charge a fee payable by yourself.
